Hi, I have very bad/sore/stiff back neck and shoulders and i was wondering if joining and working out in a gym might help?

I never work out, have slightly bad posture, and seem to sleep badly (pain is worst in the morning). I am very slim so the need to work out was never really there i suppose, but between being unfit and my neck/shoulder problems I am definitely considering joining a gym or doing some classes.

If anyone could recommend some exercises or exercise machines or anything I could do to loosen up/improve my posture etc it would be really appreciated.
Toning up would also be a bonus :)

    Thanks !

I think this falls under the heading of seeking medical advice, you should really go see a physio.
