All reports sightings (:pac:) and tales of thunder and lightning to go here! Cause i said so.

Few promising looking clouds here at the moment and a small bit of hail. Anyone seen anything tonight?

It certainly looks like the top half of the country, or more accuratly, everywhere outside leinster could see a few stikes this afternoon. Also a very wet night for the east looks to be on the cards.

Still no reports even from those Red radar echoes
    In Cork????

Cant believe how fast that rain on the radar is vanishing away, its broken up to scattered showers now compared to this morning when it was a large organised band of very heavy rain.

I think thats just a technical issue by the looks of it, with the dublin radar out, perhaps the accuracy of the reading from the shannon radar dropped as the main band drifted further north. also, the raintoday radar shows a more reasonable picture.. http://www.raintoday.co.uk/

Some very big tall looking clouds around, classical appearance of May showers on the radar - the sort that brings thunderstorms.

Plenty off the north west coast, one in Sligo 10 minutes ago as well. Nothing here as usual

There's some massive activity over North West France, and the South West of England, and it appears to be heading north West, so there's no telling what's going to arrive here overnight, there's a lot more activity showing up now than was doing so a couple of hours ago.

The Isle of Wight station http://www.isleofwightweather.com/lightning.html is showing nearly 350 strikes in the last hour, and there are some showing up in the Irish Sea more recently.

Could be an interesting night, depending what happens to the line storm that's in the English Channel right now :D

    Steve

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

Love the sound of it though, especially as it drowns out the music coming from the apartment below and the snoring from above:pac:
