    Hi folks,

I've been reading through the post and just decided to ask for some advice (I know these have been asked before). Sorry if its a bit long winded!

Anyway, I'm a 5'11 guy who weighs around 15st. I did a low carb diet last year and brought my weight down from near 19st which I was delighted with.
Diet consisted mainly of scrambled eggs, chicken, fish, beef, nuts and veg. Was fairly bored with it but the results were a great motivation.

    Exercise was mainly walking. :o

My fitness would be very poor so my main thing is just to improve my overall fitness. So I just need someone to tell me where to go from here. Join a gym and start lifting weights? Is there a beginners guide? What about kettle bell classes? Should I start introducing "good carbs" before this?

Similar diet as before... at your height and weight there's still plenty of fuel for your body to use (which is effectively what fat is). You may need to increase kcals once you begin to lift weights, certainly a bigger proportion will have to come from protein (so for instance instead of a couple of slices of toast, have a chicken breast or can of tuna).

If you're southside, there's a dude here called cmyk that runs a really good Kettlebell class which'd be perfect for you on Wedensday evening (I think) and Saturday. Drop him a PM maybe.
