Was wondering does anybody have any idea what to do about this I tried googling a few things but couldn't see a specific answer and thought somebody here might have one.

Basically I read stuff from my NTFS formatted drive on my Macbook Pro but can't write anything to it and would be sweet if I could.

    Anyway to get around this?

    Cheers.

There are a couple of options.

    1. Native Support 10.6 Only : See Here (be warned, this can make your system unstable and lead to data loss)

    2. Paragon NTFS for Mac : See Here (I use this myself and have never had a problem. Not free, costs $20)

    3. NTFS-3G : See Here (Same function as Paragon above but is free. Have not used myself but have read a few reports of being unstable.)

I used NTFS-3G to rsync data from an old HFS+ formatted LaCie to a newer NFTS WD drive and while it was slow, it worked find and all the checksums matched.

I don't know if It'd rely on it though!
