Crunch UCD closing down next month, alternatives?

So my current gym, Crunch UCD, is closing mid-June. The replacement gym in UCD won't be open until January, so I need somewhere to train for 6-8 months.

I'm living in Donnybrook and I work in UCD, so ideally I'd like somewhere nearby. David Lloyd Riverview is an option, but I'm told it might be incredibly expensive. I would, however, qualify for student rates.

Friarsland in Clonskeagh isn't an option; the weights area is very, very limited.

    Any ideas?

Ironside in Blackrock is probably the most obvious choice - http://www.facebook.com/#!/profile.php?id=100001346671931

Options around are pretty limited these days.

L.A. Fitness in Dartry . Also a very small gym in Milltown - the name escapes me at present!

I think Simply Fitness is the one in Milltown.
The Carlisle is not a million miles away either...

Really? That is odd. I wonder will they fix anything; they've been letting the place go over the last few months (years?) with anything that is broken or in need of repair just getting left untouched.

I was a member there for a couple of years and they always had stuff in need of repair or machines out of action for ages.
It was a cheap option at the time though and did the trick.....
