Okay let's change it around. I will keep the wall one open for people to still try and guess where it is. Zuroph you were "originally" close but pedantically I cannot say it's Pennywell. If you get the answer correct I will tell you why it's not Pennywell in my opinion.

Anyway, try this one. Excuse the white blob. I forgot to turn off "roads" on Google Earth so ended up with the name of the road right in the middle of the picture. :(

No No. You can still try to answer the grafitti one. It's just very obscure and the stupid word bullitz is written on a lot of walls to be fair.

But no, it's not Carey's road. It probably has a very similar version up there somewhere to be fair.

Yes. I was surprised when I saw the Google Car had been right down in the bowels of the place.

Up in the Galvone. Turn off the Kilmallock road for Mount St Oliver and instead of taking the 1st left you head straight on into the hole that is the Casey Site.

I gave a glaring hint to its location in my reference to what Zuroph had just said.

Have to say i'm not sure i like the use of street view for this thread. It's grand for when you're stuck. But the idea was to get people out exploring and taking pictures of areas of Limerick that we don't normally see, and that only locals would know.

I tend to agree. I came across this thread last week and thought it was interesting, I don't live at home anymore, but the last few pictures have been of obscure alleyways with graffiti / blocked up doorways etc and I'm not sure how they are interesting or the type of thing that would make you want to go out and take photos of something interesting around the city.

There is a few places that I would like to take pics of - might see if I can get some Monday or Tuesday that wouldnt really be able to see on streetview

I have used streetview a few times in this thread (because I was stuck) but I do agree with you. I live outside the city now and haven't had a chance to get into town and take a few pics. I have a few ideas though, all I need to do is get off my lazy ass and get into town :)
