If you're interested in the idea of other boards members getting in contact with you about meeting up for a cycle or two just "vote" for the county in which you are currently mostly situated.

This is for ROAD cyclists only.

You need to make the opening post before you can put a poll up - I suspect lemag is currently working on it - there may be a problem though, as poll options are limited to 25 and some counties will need to be merged;)

There wasn't any scientific process involved with the making of this. I was restricted to 25 options so I looked at a map and based the pairings on apparent county sizes and proximities. I purposely didn't consider populations.

You could set up another poll? For the sake of simplicity I've set it up only to allow one vote per boards account. Choose the location which you should be mostly available for cycling. Toss a coin if it helps with your decision.

Maybe there could be a boards.ie All-Ireland Cycling Race. You race for your county. Each county has a team leader and domestiques.

I could only include so many options. If yourself, blorg, skeff or any others out there feel excluded and want to make it know which far flung corners of the globe you are inhabiting then feel free to post here with such details and hopefully it'll result in a few extra visits (cups of tea and biscuits/cake are to be mandatorily offered to the traveling party) .

I think you'll find that they're actually the Dublin mountains. We just leave them in Wicklow to stop them getting stolen.

Just thought I'd see if anyone'd be interested in going for a spin with a horrendously unfit 20 year old lad?

None of my mate are into cycling and I seem to lack the motivation when I'm on my own. I do find that if I come across another cycling and stay on their tail for a while I push myself further and suffer longer so I figure having someone with me would be good for me.

Anyone at all? :rolleyes:

Around Tallaght, can travel and probably not ready for the higher Wicklow hills.

Hi guys, anyone up for a spin with an unfit novice this weekend around dublin city centre / east area? Am based near mespil road but can travel. I don't seem to be able to use the pm system here...
