    I have noticed that someone starts a thread .Then... another poster argues against what the OP was talking about .Then...the Op thanks this post .Its the same going through threads.Someone is arguing a point ,and posters thank posts which are basically ripping their original theory apart.So in a way they are not even standing by what the are saying ,just ranting and thanking with no logical reasoning behind any of it.It baffles me .Why ?

    Maybe another poster enlightened them to something they hadn't thought of. Sometimes people are open to the views of others.

    If a tree falls in the forest, and I'm not there, and it makes a sound, but I don't hear it, but someone records it and plays it back to me at a dinner party, does that mean I'm still in the forest?

    I'd have to go though a lot of threads .And it does happen .Another thing is when people quote extremely long posts , even though it's plain to everyone that we knew what they were suggesting.No need to have us scroll all day and night requoting over and over.

    No it means you heard the tree through a recorded device ,and where did you say you were even the forest in the first place .You didnt put enough thought into this I'm afraid .

    I was on the soccer forum and someone started a thread saying Barcelona were they or not boring to watch .Then someone completely obliterated this notion with a good point .What happened ? The OP thanked that post ,therefore making his whole thread pointless.

    I think you're misunderstaning. The OP probably found it a good counterpoint.

    Also you said the OP asked whether they were boring or not. Maybe he got the answer he wanted.

    Maybe they were just messing with you.
