Hey guys, just looking for a bit of general advice on fitness training. I'm extremely unfit and a bit overweight but not excessively and was wondering what the best approach to starting training/weightloss etc is? I say weightloss but i really dont have a huge issue with my weight so much as wanting to feel healthier, i also dont have any money so i cant join a gym. Does anyone know any good techniques, routines, websites or even people they could introduce me to to get started?

One other thing is i said i couldnt join a gym but just out of curiosity, how much would a personal trainer cost? ive always wanted to go to one for a few sessions to get me started.

Cheers all, im sure its obvious that i have no clue so any info you can give me is appreciated.

personal trainers are great i see mine once a month the normal charge is 40euros its alot of money e.g 10sessions = 400euros but im bodybuilding

to join a gym around the same price 400 plus they should be a trainer in the gym to tell you what to do anyway for free if u only ask them

Your diet is more important then ur training

**** best bet would buy a second hand treadmill and go see a nutritionist ******

Just on the nutritionist thing-surely that's just a made up profession. Eat well, I bet you know what that involves. If not, ask your G.P for advice. You'll save yourself a whole lot of money there. But other than that I've seen loads of health and fitness advise round and abouts here someplace. Good luck.
