dvr memory almost full with upc box,can i use a memory stick?

hi,the memory of my upc box is almost full,is it possible for me to add a memory stick to to the box so i can continue recording? and if so what is the best memory stick to get?thank you

Delete some of the recordings on your DVR. This is the ONLY way of recording more. You cannot use an external device.
