Heya,

I'm moving into a new apartment and i'm looking to install a freesat/saorview system. I don't think i can mount the disk on the exterior walls so i think i'm going to mount it on the balcony rail using a http://nationalcableandsatellite.com/tvbrackets.php

What size dish to i need? What one would you recommend? Is the sky 60cm dish the best to get?

Work out your decision based on price vs functionality etc

sky dish should be fine for your needs. You didn't mention an aerial? You'll need this for the terrestrial part of the combo box. If you're going to use an indoor type one, see if anyone is using one near you to see how it works. They are not the best unless you're sitting on top of / very near to the transmitter. If you are using an outdoor one (on your balcony) justy make sure to get the correct group UHF aerial. Have a look at the saorview coverage map. It's not 100% complete(shows main transmitters only) before anyone points out but is a good general indicator. There is a more comprehensive one here
