Myself and the girlfriend are usually very cautions and use condom and she is on the pill. Earlier we had sex without a condom and there's just a niggling doubt now. She came and I didn't, but would have had precum....

... should be safe... right? :-/

Probably. You didn't ejaculate and she's on the pill, which makes it unlikely. But it's a numbers game and nobody can tell you for certain. If you can't handle the stress, don't take the risk :)

As long as she isn't on antibiotics, and has been taking the pill properly up till now, you'll be fine :)

Neither the pill or condoms are 100% effective when used alone, even if used correctly every time. If a baby is a definite no no for both of you right now then maybe you should stick to using both the pill and condoms. It kind of takes the fun out of sex if you're getting stressed out afterwards :)

If she is taking the pill properly then the chances are incredibly small. I really don't get the obsession on these boards about double contraception.

Obsession with double contraception has nothing to do with pregnancy for the most part but lies with the possibility of STD's which people seem to put second base. And as for relying on the hope that your OH has been faithful, with the amount of affairs and cheating that occurs unaware to people, whose to know what they may have contracted.

@OP, you should be fine, unless she has hasnt had any antibiotics which could counter act it.

It gives peace of mind and avoids exactly the kind of situation from the OP

Even with perfect use, 3 out of every 1000 women who start using the pill will fall pregnant within one year. With "typical" use, that rises to 8 in every 100, and that's without allowing for factors that may increase that rate in individual cases (for example, higher-than-average fertility)

Too right, and of all the 'obsessions' I could have, I feel a double protection obsession is the most beneficial to my well being as well as my partners.
