    Its kyokushin
bare knuckle and the best leg kicks
Muay Thai is like low class Kyokushin
but i would put Muay thai high on the list 2nd maybe

Having trained Muay Thai for nearly a year, if the leg kicks in Kyokushin are better that's pretty terrifying but it's more likely they're both two sides of the same coin. As for bare knuckle I've met a few bare knuckle boxers and their hands were wrecked, so I don't know how you think that bare knuckle fighting is in any way a good thing.

The bare knuckle in Kyokushin is to the body only, though some competitions allow palm strikes to the head.

As for the low kicks, it's really splitting hairs debating which is better. Having trained in Kyokushin and having trained with Muay Thai guys in MMA I found them pretty even. At the end of the day the only thing that matters is that the low kicks in both styles are devastating :D

Kyokushin kicks are good and i would put Thai and Kyokushin as the same, Overall as a fighting sport though Thai has to be better as it has everything Kyokushin has plus punches to the head and a better stance etc in my opinion.

    bare knuckle
People who constantly fight bare knuckle break their hands. It's completely uneccessary.
    and the best leg kicks
    hahahahaha

    Low class trolling.

Plus, a striking art that doesnt allow head punches is like a wrestling art that doesn't allow throws.

If you had to pick one or the other in a street fight or stand up bout for example. you would choose kyokushin over muai thai?

I'm no expert on striking arts but I have trained in a bunch of different MA's over the last 6 years and I would have to disagree.

Its more so about training methods than actual techniques and I reckon you would be better served in a thai gym than a karate dojo.
As far as I know kyokushin is very similar to W.T.F. taekwondo in that it does not allow punches to the head in competition.

MMAIRELANDFAN can you explain in detail why you rate muai thai lower than a karate style

I practise kyokushin and would say it is a great striking art and really focuses on stamina and strength also the hand conditioning really increases my ability to hit and to understand how to hit without a glove. Its true that no head shots are allowed during standard kumite although we do practise with headgaurds on a semi regular basis. Although i was intrested to find out on asking my sensei that elbows to the body and kidney blows are allowed in competition only the spine itself is disallowed. Having recieved a couple of roundhouse kicks to the head (and mysteriously a spinning elbow from a caporeira man )) I can say that its pretty damn tough and although muay thai is far more free with the headshots id say you can get good training for real fighting from it. However i certainly wouldnt consider muay thai low class and in its traditional or sport form it is a truly splendid and effective art infact in the 60s mas oyama sent many of his fighters to challenge the thais knowing that they were perhaps far more formidable in competition than many of the japanese karate styles. Ah but thats not to say trad styles like karate or tkd are weak they simply exist for the purpose of self defense at least in thier original forms ,done properly katas were highly effective forms of attack and defense also full contact people shouldnt mock traditonalist just because they prefer a non contact style ive met many effective martial artists who dont spar full contact lest we forget that a well placed leg kick may put us in a good position to win in the ring but it might get us neuterd in a street fight ;) ouch or my eyeball or my adams apple
