    Hey all,

I had a six month prescription for the contraceptive pill and I just finished my first packet. The problem is that I'm due to buy my next pack, but I can't find my prescription anywhere :(

I don't have enough money to go back and visit the doctor for another prescription, what can I do? Will I have to do that?

The pharmacist who dispensed your prescription has its details on the shop's computer

you will still need your prescription even if he has your details on the computer.
Theres a good chance he will give it out to you anyways but he's technically not allowed to without a script

My chemist take my prescription off me and when I go down they just have the details on their computer and everything is ok.

    Not a helpful comment, itsallaboutheL.

If you really need the contraception ASAP, you can ask for an emergency prescription once off, I've done that once and they should do it for you as far as I know, but you will need to get a prescription

Ring up the doctors surgery and explain to the receptionist what happened - normally they will issue you with a new prescription (free or 5 euro ish). Best of luck.

Yeah lost a few prescriptions in my time:o. Too many bags! Just rang up and was re-issued, costs 7 euro where I am so reasonable enough compared to GP fee.
