    Hey All,
Im wanting to start doing a bit of weight training to tone up my whole body (female late 20's). However Im not a member of a gym so could I do a good program with dumbbells alone at home? I have no interest in joining a gym as I run a lot outside. Or does anyone know of any weights classes in the city centre(have looked but cant seem to find any)
    Thanks

do all of this in the video i have done below as it can be all done at home

there is no massive difference in programming between women and men - more of a difference with what you have issues/weaknesses in really.

    foam roll and stretch daily

    ^ Agree with this.

A lot of women are suspicious of weights thinking they will get to big as a result.

However as most men can tell you - gaining muscle is far from an easy task and even harder for women.

As well as Zusanna from www.bodyrock.tv, if you were to pick up one or two kettlebells, you could also check out Marianne's www.myomytv.com. It's a little less like soft port and more workout like. The workouts are really good and challenging, even for a guy (once sufficient weight is used), and are a mix of body weight and kettlebell exercises.

Here is one of Marianne's workouts
