i weight 8 and a half stone and im about 5 foot 8 high and i despise the way i look. i hate being so skinny.

im starting stronglifts now for the past week and im going to keep it up for as long as possible

i want to but some supplement to go along with the program and since holland and barrret seems to be the best shop close to me i have a choice of two of these products

    your normal whey protein..
    http://www.hollandandbarrett.ie/pages/product_detail.asp?pid=100&prodid=563&sid=0

and then this extreme gaining stuff..
    http://www.hollandandbarrett.ie/pages/product_detail.asp?pid=208&prodid=1991&sid=0

ive never taking anything at all before so im a noob when it comes to this stuff
i hate being so small for so long so im being drawn to the extreme gaining stuff but i want to make sure what im buying is the correct stuff for me so any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Do you have a lasercard to order online? If so theres alot better products you can buy, and they'll be better value too.

If youre looking to put on quality weight, concentrate on youre diet first.
What does a days eating look like for yourself?

When you say better.. Better how?? any recommendations??

my diet varies an alot day to day. at home i eat very little because the mother is left up to doing the shopping and cooking but i hope to change that this summer, going to buy and cook for myself.
And i college i eat a bit better cos i fend for myself but due to travelling, drinking, lectures etc its hard to keep up a consistent diet

at this stage i wouldnt care about putting on fat or anything as long as i see those scales going up so i am going to try drink half a gallon of milk every day on top of everything else to get the calories up

Quality of ingredients, quanity of protein gram for gram, taste, value.
Loads of reasons :D. Everybody starts out with ONs Gold Standard Whey.

Ah now, dont use the mother as an excuse, and dont wait untill the summer. Start now. You want to get big, youve got to eat big, no excuses.

Remember days of old when people brought packed lunches?

Two litres of milk a day will certainly help the cause, its a good start.

You got some good advice here before in this (as well as one or two others) thread -

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055993605

IMHO - sort the core diet out first. Milk, nuts, nut butters, oily fish, butter, olive oil, coconut oil, dark chocolate, dried fruit

If you do not sort this out first before considering supps, you will be back to square one or back here posting again

Lets the supplements supplement a relevant diet first off

The mammy is no excuse at this stage for the most part

If you have no appetite, eating more will give you one eventually. It might not be easy, but nothing worth truly attaining comes without a little work

    Best of luck with it
    R.

I have used the h & b whey protein before and it was grand,

However I think that buying online from bulkpowders or myprotein would be a better option,

That is for both weight gainer or whey,

And the only reason I think they are better is because they are cheaper,

Well thats what I have found anyway.

Since the shill has been already banned in nutrition, seems only fair to ban him here too.

See you in 7 days enthony
