How Long Does A Keyboard last?

So, I bought a cheapo keyboard 7 years ago. It is still in good nick and seems to be working perfectly. I was wondering how many more years can I expect from it, or do they keep going forever? A lot of dust tends to get in between and under the keys and I can't get it out, would that affect it at some point? What do you think?

There's no way to tell how long it'll keep going for. It'll keep working until something breaks from wear and tear. A well kept circuit could last ages or you could have the whole thing die tomorrow from component failure.

seems about right, assuming humidity remains within a +- .05% tolerance.
