Transfer Process

    Hey, I'm a 2nd year undergrad student in DCU thinking about the transfer process. I was wondering:

    -Would transfer to a similar course take into account my grades for this year or just first year?
    -Do I have much of a chance of transferring to an unrelated course in an NUI or UCD?
    -I assume I'm ineligible for free fees for the first 1/2 years?

    If anyone had experience transferring either internally or externally I'd like to know how it went. Cheers.

    A transfer request will examine all your results to date.

    DCU accepts transfers from other universities/colleges, I imagine it should be possible but each university will handle transfers differently.

    If you have completed the majority of 2 years already, you will have to pay fees for 2 years.
