Fairly big game for both teams, Arsenal to make the United match at the Emirtates more valuable and Tottenham fighting for 4th spot and Champions League football.

Possible Arsenal line up: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Djourou, Clichy, Song,Wilshere, Fabregas,Walcott, Nasri,Van Persie

Possible Spurs:Gomes; Corluka, Gallas, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Huddlestone, Modric, Bale, Van der Vaart; Defoe.

    What a vital NLD,

Reckon Wilshire will be rested for Diaby...which is a worry coz Wilshire would surely know what this fixture means being a local..still surely Arsenal will be up for it..

    Come on you Gunners!!!

Arsenal to be 3-0 up at half time but still manage to scrape a draw.

Honeslty no idea, I'm pessimistc but optimistic at the same time. As long as we don't lose/draw because of a token Arselol moment I'll be happy.

Don't know what to make either. We've had a weeks rest while Arsenal have just been struck a major psychological blow in the title race on Sunday in a 100 minute match. We should definitely be fresher but I honeslty haven't a clue how we're going to play considering the season we've had.
I'd bet there'll be at least one spectacular goal tho;)
It really is a must win for us if we want 4th though.

    God I'd love another 4-4

Shame we don't have Sol after he outpaced Bale last year, Sagna ain't slow either though. I'd be tentative that Song could be a bit loose on VDV. Hope Nasri produces the goods. Go 1.54 in following video, quality by Sulzeer.

I'd feel a lot more comfortable about this game if we had someone capable of scoring. Both teams have a lot to gain out of this game, hopefully Spurs show that sporadic character tonight.

Should be a good game as both teams will be looking to win it.

I've a good feeling this will not be a boring nil all draw. I am expecting goals a plenty as a result of mistakes/acts of brilliance. The reactions of Wenger throughout the game should be worth the admission prices alone.

Was at the game on Sunday. I cant see Spurs putting ten men mehind the ball and hoof it up front all day. Were very one dimensional these days, but we hit the crossbar on a header, had a goal ruled offside, and were farting about the box for about an hour. 442 on sunday, with 2 wingers and 2 strikers up front was so obviously the way to go in my opinion. But Nasri didnt show up. Nor did Cesc. Derby might rise them. diaby played well. Wilshere played well. I dont understand whats happened with chamakh, i thought before xmas , he was going to be the 20 goal man.

This sloppy and poor form for Arsenal has to end tonight. Arsenal have been given yet another lifeline after that horror show on Sunday. Anything but a win and its definitely over. If the players cant get up for this then they shouldnt be footballers. I have a feeling that we will win this by two goals but that we will leave it late. Spurs will come out attacking so I reckon it will be highscoring affair but ultimately we will shade it and keep the title hopes alive until sunday at least.

    5 nil arsenal.

I'm excited about it :) Really up for Spurs here obviously, but also cause I want them to get 4th!

Should be a good open game and neither teams are on form really. Thinking it could be an entertaining draw. Must win for both. Two teams with supposedly poor defenses and score loads of goals even tho, as of late neither have really scored much or conceded many (Apart form champions league:mad:).

Hoping for a fast, flowing and end to end game. Since I've said that prob be dull and boring.

Really hope these predictions are proved extremely wrong!

Would literally love to be at the Lane tonight. The place will be buzzing.

Draw or a win for Spurs and the league will be done I'd say.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,435 ✭✭✭wandatowell

Cant look beyond Totteringham for a win cos of Arsenal's shocking form of late.

Gonna go with 3-1 to the team in white.

You've know idea how pathetic it feels to be actually expecting Arsenal to loose a NLD....... :(

Hope we have a cracking match.Have become utterly pi**ed off with the Premiership, the hype, the antics of players and managers and not forgetting the tediously cliched commentators

Not nitpicking at all! I love my team and it pisses me off when people can't spell the name right!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,746 ✭✭✭✭Galvasean

Well, the last few NLD's have been nothing if not entertaining.
I don't see us (Arsenal) winning this one. I'd say a draw or a narrow Spurs win.
But you'd never know on derby day.

Yes it is, I love Szczesny yet I don't feel the need to tell people how to spell his name.

You're right! I do predict a Tottenham Hotspur v Szczesny type of game alright.

I'm hopeless at calling these type of games, but I can't see a Spurs win tonight. Most likely a draw or Arsenal to nick it for me.

So we're playing VDV with two up top? Usually it's Crouchy on his tod. No Lennon either!

Arsenal win 2-1. Spurs might benefit from being out of the CL but don't think they will have enough to beat Arsenal. Europa league at best for Spurs next season I think.

VDV on the right. But realistically he'll drift all over the place. Not a fan of him playing on the right. Would much rather see Azza out there.
