Bringing training supplements on a plane?

I'm travelling to the US for a little over a week, and I'm trying my best not to let it interfere with my training regime, so I'm hoping to bring the supplements I use with me (jack3d, and a whey protein). I don't want to bring the whole tub of protein as its massive, so was planning on bringing the amount I need in a ziploc bag. I'm worried though that I'll look like some kind of drug mule and get unnecessary grief from customs over it.

Has anyone brought this kind of stuff with them before, were you asked questions? If I do bring it is it better to put it in hand luggage where I can at least explain what it is, or should I put it in my checked bags?

I imagine you'll get a bit of grief but I'm not really sure. Would it not be fairly cheap over in the US anyway? Especially if you're only buying a small amount.

US is significantly cheaper for all supplements so id say buy it once you get there and then bring the excess home so itll save a bitta money in the long run.

Amazing how often this question comes up. And of course the right answer is, if you're not so massive that you needed to buy 2 seats on the plane and are asking this question punch yourself in the face...... now.

Its so embarrassing when people try to board you because your lats make you look like the plane

I often wonder what shape I'd be in if I was that dedicated to training...

If everyone brought their supps for week long trips we'd be a swoler society. Probably lose all your gains and wither away if you didn't take them for a whole week.

We'll see who's laughing in a years time when he's going to be struggling to wipe his own ass with all the muscle he's accrued.

Ah jaysus lads, it was a simple question, I don't know how you inferred from it that I assume whey protein is some magical protein and without it I'll wither away.

I've an awful habit of making excuses for myself for breaking a routine. This was just one of them. Before I did the usual I said I'd ask if anyone else brought it with them before.

No one will be laughing at me when the plane is about to crash and my ginormous lats allow me to glide to safety while the rest of the normal proportioned fcukers drown :)

I have brought protein with me on holidays before as well as zma and halibut oil. I usually put the whey in a luchbox with the scoop and put it in my main case and have never had any problems. I have also brought a shaker on a plane before with some whey in it and mixed it on the plane (because I can't stand airline food) and had no problems, though their were some funny looks :D

I've been guilty of bringing supps with me on trips/holidays before. Not anymore and I'm still as swole as ever haha
