Natural Fromage Frais

Anyone any idea where I could get natural Fromage Frais? I've tried Tescos, Dunnes and Supervalu with no luck

If not then any natural yogurt will do.

It's what they make Petit Filous and Munch Bunch out of but I just want the plain stuff .. not the fruit flavoured stuff aimed at kids.

I've just started Slimming World online and they specifically state Fromage Frais not natural yoghurt

well tesco have their own brand of fromage frais.

May i ask why they are recommending this to you?

Thanks for that.. will try the Tesco Superstore in Arklow.

It's a particularly useful/flexible product in lots of their recipes and is classed as a "free food". They do use natural yoghurt for some but the FF is used in others.

As said, Tesco's do their own brand natural fromage frais. Not all stores stock it though. I know for sure that the one on the ballsbridge end of baggot street has it if that's any help.

I need to get Fat Free Fromage Frais too. It's only done by Tesco in Ireland (I think) and it's really hard to get. It doesn't have any in Clearwater or in Phisboro. I know it sometimes stocks it in Blanchardstown. It is lovely and you can make loads of stuff with it. Currys, jellys, creamy potatoes, pour over fruit, omelettes, etc...

When you get it buy a few tubs and freeze it! It says not to on the side but I've frozen it for years and it's totally fine when you defrost

fat free fromage frais available in supervalu.. ask for it and they get it in for you as its not a very popular product my local was very helpful in getting it for me...on the slimmimg world diet and its great to be able to get it

Thanks for the tip. Aldi also now do a low fat greek yoghurt!

sounds good, must try it...love greek yogurt but not a fan of the calories
