Neighbour inadvertently brushed his car against mine and it has now a couple of scratches along the driver's door. No dent though. Is there anyone around the city who repairs scratches. The door doesn't need a respray (I think) as the scratches are tiny but long.

you can get scratch repair kit in any motor factors for just a few euro that you can use yourself if they are not too deep. worth a try before spending a nice few euro to get a pro to do it

There is a place in Liosbán, not the Polish one (they're good but for bigger jobs) it's just past there, two letters in the name. Near The Banks, very good and very cheap.

N&N Autobody in Moycullen are good (more here). If you want to have a go yourself we can advise you but a couple of pics would help.

All of the factors pens and magic marker type scratch fillers are complete and utter sh1t and not worth using.

The entire panel will need to be resprayed to do a proper job, anything else will be noticeable. I suppose it depends how much the car is worth as to what option you go with. I would say respray of the door would be around €500.

If your nail does not catch on the scratch when you rub it across it then perhaps a paint correction might sort it. www.detailer.ie is the only one i know around Dublin but i'm sure there are others.

    Maybe this Chipsaway
I have never used them but a car up the road got them and two days later this van was at another two houses, so I can only assume that the job was OK
