Hey everyone! I'm 20 years old and for the past few years have been really unhappy with my weight. I want to lose around 8 pounds - not a whole lot but seemingly an impossible task. No matter how much I exercise or diet the weight just refuses to shift. This week I had my wisdom teeth taken out and as I'm on a diet of only soluble food for a week (fruit smoothies, no yougurt/ice-cream and homemade veg soup) i'm hoping to lose a few pounds. Has anyone got any advice for me? I'm 5ft4 and 128 pounds and completely fed up!

Post up your typical daily diet in detail (warts and all) to start with.

Also, the lower your weight is and the less you have to lose, (vanity pounds so to speak), you will have to eat less and less to get there. You may need to eat for the weight you want to be.

"Vanity pounds" - Love it! I guess that's what I'm doing at the moment to get down to 6kg total fat mass. :D

my usual diet would consist of Kelloggs crunchy nut, porridge or cheerios for breakfast.
Lunch: Ham and cheese toastie on brown bread or wholegrain pitta no butter or mayo. Maybe a cuppa soup as well.
Dinner: Usually chicken veg and mash or something like that
Snacks: KitKat, Mightymunch, Tea. Not everyday but I would consider chocolate my downfall in general.

My diet for the next few days and since thursday however: 2 pure fruit smoothies, no yogurt or ice-cream. A cup of homemade soup and two desserts spoons of jelly or ice-cream. I surely have to lose something as Im barely able to eat!
