    He's usually very good but i cant seem to get the strumming down for the second part.

    I've tried other sources and it still doesnt make sense

    He hasn't figured it out either (judging by this video). It's a tricky one and took me a while to get it sounding nice, as you cant hear exactly what is going on on the original recording. FWIW i sat down with the song on pair of headphones and did it the hard way :)
