Hi everyone, hope some of you can help as you seem to know your stuff in here!

I had a baby three years ago. I was size 6/8 before that but found myself to be too skinny no matter what i ate (including two complans a day on top of normal 3 meals etc). once i had the baby my body snapped right back to the size it was- now i must add that i was 17 having her and i was in college and commuting/walking, and working, and looking after baby so i was quite fit and active, and had youth on my side!

but my tummy no matter how skinny i was always had what i can only describe as a 'pouch', which i did have before the baby but it seems bigger since having her. like my stomach has never fully shrunk back.

i'll admit my diet was never great as i always stayed skinny so i didnt really care about healthy eating but now that ive graduated and no longer walk and commute ive put on some weight and typically enough i now want it gone! ive joined a gym and the weight is falling off me, doing planks, crunches, weights etc., and im eating better-not the best but better than i was-switching to brown rice, grilled chicken, healthier options.

im forming a nice little six pack but the pouch is still there- a rounded little pot belly- and i also have like a line running accross my lower belly like the fat has creased it or something is how id best describe it. my question i guess is whether this is from diet (sugar and salt?) or is it more than likely pregnancy related and am i doomed forever? :p

ive tried drinking more water and lowering salt and sugar intake so time will tell i suppose but id just be interested to know if any of you know what it is or if theres any exercise to get rid.
sorry for the long post and i guess ive answered my own question in a way but just wanted some advice form people who'd know more than myself!
