Must be a clever attempt to lure Xabi Alonso back.

I like the Chelsea jersey, I welcome the return of the polo neck, hated this seasons plunging V neck. The Liverpool away one isnt the greatest IMO.

Barcelona jersey looks retro and cool though.

Pretty certain that is not the Barca one. It is on some discount shirt site for £12.99 afterall.

Redout posted a pic of a rumoured one, which looks very PSG, but it is nice. Cannot find the post though.

That Newcastle one is really nice.

Not to be a scrooge but that's a 1 or 2 year old Adidas template and they used it for a lot of their lesser teams (Paraguay's away jersey in world cup, finland), so I don't think that'll actually be it.

The Liverpool away is being unveiled on the 14th btw and I've heard that it's dark grey and red - the same template as the Venezuela shirt you can see here.

Apparently it's been confirmed that it will be dark grey/silver & red. The Venezuela shirt mentioned by speedboatchase looks a lot like the new Real shirt posted.

That Sunderland one looks strange. Alright in the front but the stripes/name look strange from the back.

Rather like that Newcastle one. Much improved over this years one which looks extremely cheap.

I really hope the rumoured Manchester United one isn't the real one.

I hate the fact that Real Madrid always have nice jerseys. I'd love for United to be with Adidas...

Dont like the Arsenal one at all.

A lot of these jerseys just look really plain. What happened to when a teams jersey really stood out...ala United's red one with the laces on the shirt and the similar green and gold one.

Not a big fan of the Barca jersey, much prefer this seasons. Same goes for the Chelsea one. Not matter which one Liverpool end up with it will be an improvement on this seasons white one although I like the fit of the red and black ones.

And I reland releasing another jersey:eek: ...didn't they cash in enough by releasing the last one just before the sponsor change and expecting people to buy jerseys?

Edit: Argentina and Brazil away are really nice.

Just spotted it now. I can only imagine its just the home shirt with 3 on the front instead of Eircom? Or a silly pointless 3rd strip if we ever have to play Cetic or Yeovil Town?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,734 ✭✭✭Fowler87

Its crazy how the majority of teams release a new home kit every season. At least Liverpool get two seasons out of their home kit... Argentina away looks quality btw

That change of sponsor was the last release. The current Ireland jersey I think was released this time last year and the one with the 3 logo released during the summer (July or August).

Return of the 3rd orange strip could be an option. :D

Argentina home looks awesome as per usual. Don't like the away one though.

I actually kind of like the France Away, it's unusual.

The Rovers one looks more like a rugby jersey than a football one.

True alright although the actual material isn't as heavy as it looks.

Black kits are nice. If you took away the white collar it would look amazing.

I don't really have a problem with clubs releasing new kits every season to be honest. It's a handy way of generating money as no matter how many people complain about it the majority will buy again.

Most sponsorship contracts such as Umbro require that new kits are released every year.

The black Batman Brazil training shirt > anything ever made.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,270 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

The United shirt looks very plain & boring. The 06/07 shirt, now that was a nice jersey.
The gold on the Madrid looks a bit tacky. A gold trim might have worked but on the stripes and sponser? Nah.
    Italy shirt is nice.

Nope, it's a training kit unfortunately. Deserves to be worn on the pitch to be honest, would look absolutely class.
