Them FBI lads are obviously suffering from a mass hallucination caused by the helium from the weather balloons building up inside that cave.

Wow never thought the fbi would release something like this. I wonder why they did?

Wow. The FBI released a report that someone claimed to have seen a flying saucer 60 years ago, with no other evidence of it.

They're only 3 foot tall, we can have them wrestling in the WWE.

Since I'm not going to bother reading it, can you give a summary? A few sightings, right? No hard evidence?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,338 ✭✭✭aphex™

They only interviewed a guy. They didn't release it as actual info they had gathered themselves.

The guys probably laughed it off afterwards.

"Sure, sure we'll look into it. Good to know. Could be the Russians, you never know."

    Cool story bro.

You should read it its only one page and its to the fbi director, he sounds important. I'm just wondering why they released it?

    Case Closed :D

Ours. They don't use feet. Everyone knows aliens use "quardions"!

Dunno, someone maybe requested it under Freedom of Information? There's nothing groundbreaking in the memo, just another reported flying saucer. Not sure why it would be sent to the director, maybe that's standard protocol? They get sent to the director as a matter of course, and they just accumulate on his desk?

Or maybe it was a particularly zealous FBI agent, with a keen UFO interest.

Just like Roswell, the disk was probably just from a military research program.

Ya but they could have just not released it, and no-one would know about it and no-one would know that they didn't release the documents they don't know about, if you get me,so why bother at all?

What is a bit more interesting is the description of the bodies they discovered on the wreckage.

Yeah I don't know why this one specifically was released, but I also don't see any significance in the fact that it was, as you seemingly do!

I think there were 'bodies' recovered from Roswell too though weren't there? It turns out they were anthropomorphic dummies. Not sure why they bothered dressing them, mind. To protect their modesty, perhaps.

Yeah they manage to build ships that travel across all interstellar space only to be took down by a US radar system from the 1950's.

I can find absolutely no flaw in this report.

    nanu nanu...

I could be wrong but haven't they always, flat out denied they know anything about aliens. I think its a first from the fbi and a bit odd.

The only difference is that there are no official documents describing these bodies. What is somewhat startling is that they didn't go into detail about how many saucers were recovered and how many bodies were found. There were 3 in each, yet they refer to multiple flying saucers.

Reread more carefully and they said three had crashed.

I'm sure that they've denied that there are any aliens visiting the Earth, but they've acknowledged unexplained sightings before.

Actually just stumbled upon this interesting (but brief) page

They know that it's leading up to something similiar to Independance Day movie.

So, the fate of the planet really is in Will Smith's and Jeff Goldblum's hands. Let's just hope Goldblum's computer trojan works and the aliens didn't update their anti-virus definitions :(

i for one welcome our new alien overlords bureaucratic, mis-information peddling federal agents...

one memo about an interview with a crackpot does not evidence of alien encounter make...

Seems a bit odd that they release it now when all they did was deny it when everybody had there speculations, nd with all the sightings and that..!

I'm not convinced its seems a bit Fake to me

    :D

    Alien overlords my backside.

They have been landing since 1950 at least and all they seem to be doing is crashing and kidnapping drunken hicks and the odd cow, hardly a great platform to world domination.

At 3 foot tall, the best these bundling aliens can hope for is to be adapted as some kind of family pet.
