    Quick update. The Mini camera from the OP arrived today. Took about five hours to charge first time. just tried it now and it seems to be working fine. As a bonus it records sound as well !

    Just got mine in the post and can confirm it's a #8 version.

    Pic quality is very good sound not great but ok for the price.

    If you use the app to set the time you will need to browse the the memory card and open the TAG.TXT, delete and extra characters and put each of these on seperate line or it won't work.
    [date]
    mm/dd/yyyy
    03:45:00

    Of course use the correct date and time in that format.

    Turn off and back on the camera and it should be displaying correct time and date.

    My #3 8088 arrived a few days ago. I just got around to trying it out today.

    The LED continually stays orange. It will only turn off when the battery dies or i press the reset button.

    I have contacted the seller for a refund or a replacement.

    It was only $11 so no biggie.

    I ordered one for meself. Gonna stick it to me motorbike helmet and see what it turns out like.

    They'll try anything in Trim to brighten up the place :D

    Must get meself one of these, need to get a camera tripod for the car too!

    Lol a tripod.
    Don't forget you need to get the micro SD card seperately.
