That 24 hour shops have breakfast rolls all ready to go at 7am, im just back from town and not one bloody shop has all the ingredients for a breakfast roll ready:mad:
They have chips wedges even sasuages all ready but no rashers or pudding, what the bloody hell is wrong with them, i remember years ago you could get breakfast rolls from 6am.

Guess you'll have to buy rashers, pudding and roll then make it up yourself when you get home!

Just buy a box of cornflakes and some milk.

Get a bowl out of the press/cupboard (whatever ya wanna call it)

Pour the flakes into the bowl til you think you have enough.

Pour over the flakes some nice ice cold milk

Get a spoon outta the drawer and start eating...

This process can be tried out with many different types of
    breakfast cereal
    :pac:

Those are the ingredients left over from yesterday mornings breakfast, the rashers and puddin are in the oven. You will just have to wait a minute or 2 for your freshly made breakfast roll.
    Jambon anyone?

Used to have a breakfast roll every few days in college until i decided getting up a few minutes earlier and eating a cereal was better for my heart and wallet, double win.

yep, you're right. I'll admit though, sometimes a breakfast roll is just what the doctor ordered (well, he mightn't sign off on it but you know what I mean). Now I am trying to work off all the breakfast rolls from the last few years and it ain't much fun!

I will donate a breakfast roll to this event.
And if you're looking for somewhere to fight I have a big back garden.

    Step Right Up...
Genuine fight to the death tickets,
    Only 5 Euro each.

10 Euro to sit in the "Splash Zone"

Well, to be honest if we're both going to fly all the way over there we might just pick up a breakfast roll each.

How many calories are in a breakfast roll ? Must be loads

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,764 ✭✭✭cml387

It's not the breakfast roll per se that's the problem, it's the Lucozade, twenty Bensons and the Sun that does the harm.

    Breakfast rolls are disgusting

The absolute state of the egg..
    Undercooked bacon..
    Sausage tastes like chicken..
    Pudding is pure grease..
    And the rest ..

Nothing beats making your own breakfast roll

Clonakilty pudding + rashers, superquinn sausages, and a nicely poached free range egg

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,332 ✭✭✭Guill

Rasher, Sausage and Mushroom all the way for me, no pudding.

I prefer pudding on its own, alomost raw is the best (well technically just warmed as it is already cooked!), shops carbonise the ****in stuff.

Heard this somewhere before - well over 1000, I think. And that's just for one meal. Madness!

Yeah, the undercooked bacon is the worst part. Undercooked bacon fat is disgusting. That and the whole confection containing a bucket load of grease.

Personally, I don't like any supermarket sausages. Butcher sausages FTW.

The gas thing is when some poor eejit (usually me) asks for a BLT at around 10 or 11, and they hock all the petrified bacon that they've failed to shift in breakfast rolls into it.

Bleurgh! Clearly a BLT calls for nicely crispy bacon! :)
