    Hi all,

Can anyone recommend some healthy snacks that I can eat at my desk at work to tide me over between lunch and dinner? I always end up starving around 3pm and I end up cracking and having chocolate or crisps or something.

    Thanks!

How about a handful of almonds? They keep well, fill you up, provide fiber and good fats, and they don't stink.

Depends really on the rest of your diet. Boiled eggs are handy for protein, nuts for good fats (I love cashews), peanut butter on Nairns oatcakes are a favourite. Another option for adding protein is Beef Jerky which I find nice but some detest (it's quite an expensive snack too).
