So if I'm changing course internally (ie. moving from 1st year of one course to 1st year of another course for the start of next year) I've been told that I will be assessed on Leaving Cert points like all other applicants. I'm wondering how many courses can I apply to? Just one or as many as I want?

I did this last year: you're better off applying through the CAO in addition to the internal transfer as CAO applicants get preference over internal applicants.

    Not true....

internal transfers for JF are offered at the same time as CAO Round One......no preference given to either group.

Available spaces on a course are filled by CAO applicants first, with remaining spaces then being filled by internal applicants.
