Alright lads, I recently joined back boxing after a broken leg, which had me out for the best part of 6 months... I was shocked when i realized i had put on nearly 2 stone! I am about 5'6 and 12.5 stone (about 75 kilos) and i have to get down to about 64.. The thing is though, this has to be done in 2/3 weeks. I know people on here will say its not healthy, but i really need to do it, so please no posts unless your actually helping.
    Thanks.

    2 stone in 3 weeks?

Okay stop eating and run 20k every day. There you go.

Because thats the ideal time, but the weigh in isint until 4 weeks, so i suppose a month would be a better timeline...

It's impossible for you to lose that amount of weight in 21 days.
    Sorry.
It took you six months to put it on; you can't expect to be rid of it in a fortnight or so.

***** runing my aim :( haha, then realistically, whats the shortest amount of time i could do it in?

I have some bad news for you, 12.5 stone is actually about 80kg.

Don't eat any carbs 5 days before your weigh in and dehydrate yourself as much as you can before it too.

That should knock a nice few pounds of water out of your body and off the scales.

It won't knock 2 stone off alone but it's possible you could lose a stone of weight in 4 weeks by drastically cutting calories. Eat plenty of veg and protein and take plenty of vitimans and fish oil tablets.

It wouldnt be pretty but I reckon you could get close enough to 2 stone "weight" off in 4 weeks. 1 stone fat/muscle + ~1stone water weight. I might be over estimating the water weight here btw, but it would be at least 8-10 pounds I reckon.

It would be dangerous to your health to try this btw and I'd question what kind of state you'd be in to fight after it.

Or good news. 75kg is 11.8 stone.

    Yeah, em, that's not boxing.

What has your coach's advice been on this?

    It's a turn of phrase.

So he wants you to try and be fit in 2 months. You want to take a fight at 15kg below your current weight in 4 weeks?

He didn't ask you to lose 2 stone in 2 months though, probably because he knew that would be impossible. You can be fit and still over your fighting weight.

You could lose 2 stone (12.7 kg or 28lbs) of bodyfat in approximately 13 weeks if your nutrition is right, you're on a good caloric deficit and you do lots of cardio. But it will not be easy.
