Really Irregular Periods

    Im sorry if there are already other topics on this but I would really like some advice on what to do!

    Im 17 and I've had my period for just over 3 years and it is still incredibly irregular... sometimes it comes every 50 or so days then others it doesn't come for about 70 days, then it my come again 20 days later and it's so frustrating :(:(

    I'm never prepared because I just simply can't predict it and I don't know what to do... I thought after a while your periods became regular or do I have to wait even longer for that to happen? Is this unusual or has anyone else experienced this?
