Thomson NTL Router Default Password

NTL guy called out to the house while I was away to replace the cisco NTL router. I now have no idea what the default password is for the router and tried all the defaults i could google. There is no sign of a manual that came with it. Anyone know what the default is or do i have to ring NTL and wait on hold for ages?…
