My parents live about 5 miles from Roscrea near Borris-in-Ossory. Is there any freesat installers in the area - it would be nice for them to have UTV and the BBCs but they couldn't afford Sky.

    Thanks

Like the one in Lidl I think - one that gives BBC UTV etc - they already have RTE on an aerial. NOT SKY as they won't be paying a subscription. At the minute they only have RTE, TV3 and TG4.

well in my honest opinion id advise this crowd
    http://www.tv4free.ie/index-2.html

i could install a freeview box without rte tv3 etc

but in about a years time the irish channels are all going digital
    look here http://www.saorview.ie/
and anybody that doesnt have one of the newer televisions
which i doubt your parents have
will lose rte1,2 tv3 and tg4 by using antenna on roof
unless the get a set top box for the tv or have one of the newer tvs
which will cost them extra again
