Hi, I'm signed up to get invisalign in the next few weeks, and I was wondering if people could tell me about their experiences with the IPR (teeth filing). Was it painful? Do you're teeth become hyper sensitive? In the dental clinic they said your teeth can "remineralise" whatever that means! Any thoughts on this would be great! :)

Hi there, I found it fine, he didn't tell me when he was starting to do it which is good because I am a very nervous patient, didn't find it bad at all but the sound of the drilling is the worst! No sensitivity either. Be prepared though because the first week is the most painful, but after that is fine so just push through! I am on my second last set of alighners and I am delighted with the results!

Very helpful posts, thanks. Would anyone be able to PM me the names of the clinics where they got Invisalign and approximate costs? I'm in Dublin but would consider Louth, Meath areas or going up north. Thanks!
