Emm, I suppose it's about 100 miles out of your way :o Yeah it's a great price, and she's excellent.

Hope you can suss out a more reasonabley priced yoga class ;).

:D ahh just a few miles too far alright. I have searched high and low but the main problem is good instructors. Too many gym instructors jumping on the band wagon having done a day course in Pilates  I will try the home method for now and maybe invest in a DVD

Sunday (way too early ) 13th November
    6miles 1:02 Pace 10:24
Met up with the group nice and early. A few hellos and a few of minutes of chats with the lads and we headed off... that was the last we saw of the lads and myself RK and Shaz had a nice easy run of 6 miles. My legs still feel a bit tired so will take next weeks runs handy again. Starting hot yoga on Tuesday to help with stretching... should be interesting, went up to the gym and we were showed around the studio... it is really hot in there and it wasn't even at the temperature for hot yoga

Gossip session planned for a decent hour on Saturday - just posted it up on main thread.

You'd want to have seen Nules face on Sun morn when I picked her up - not exactly bright and chirpy :p

    Tuesday 15th november
    4 miles 38:58 pace 9:43
Home from work straight out for my run. Quick shower and then walked up to my first hot yoga class. It was hot hot hot i have never sweated as much before in my life. Nearly fell over a couple of times trying to do some of the poses :o. I am not into all that meditation sh1te that can come with yoga. there was only 5 mins of "let the negative energy leave your body and the positive energy enter it"... i think there is still some negativity lurking in this body so i will work on that a bit more next week :D 70 mins of sweating. It was tough and there was a waterfall coming from my face at one point. But was all good... i fear i may waste away by Christmas

Its definitely different was getting a bit bored with pilates and really wanted to do something local rather than driving 15mins to and from a class... especially if i have pre paid at least this way if we get bad weather i can walk up. Oh and no fear of me fading away anne i like my food way too much for that happen :D

wednesday 16th november (god is it only wednesday )
    5miles 51:57 pace 10:22
My aim over the next few weeks is to train for the waterford half (and maybe, possibly, perhaps, probably not aim for sub2 again). So was advised to do an extra weekend run. So 5 days running this week. Decided not to look at the garmin (you become such a slave to them sometimes) during this run and take it extra handy and just to feel comfortable all the way around. was very enjoyable. :)

Even if I don't want to look at my Garmin I end up looking out of habit :p!

Fair play girl. You are really focussed on the half. I used be obsessed with the Garmin but i find now with running in the dark and the long sleeves its too much of an effort to look at it. :)

Any plans to try a few intervals? They will definitly help you with your sub 2 attempt. Get the body used to going faster than your goal pace making it easier to maintain your goal pace when needed.

Yep soon :) I just wanted to take another week of plodding around as legs a bit tired still. Will do some Hopefully at the weekend and nxt wk. Did
Intervals for the Kildare half and they definitely work. Waterford not a do or die attempt for sub2 but I will give it a lash and make a real attempt in the new year and do some serious training for it. Just wanted a crack at Waterford as I had to pull out last year.

    Thursday 17th November
    4 miles 37:58 pace 9:28
Legs were achy today after sports massage and my run yesterday and was going to put off running today, but when i got home it wasn't raining so decided to just go for it wasn't looking forward to it at all. Turned out to be a bloody marvelous run in the end. two 9 min miles in there... one down hill and one not. (wow that hot yoga is working already ;))So i am chuffed with that. felt fine throughout was good to get the heart pumping. :)
