Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    thanks

I am sorry I don't know when Socom Gear will make a special edition of the MEU in silver they will have to wait on WE to make one first.

They currently only make the Black Tan and OD MEU

    http://socomgear.com/english/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7&products_id=37

When WE and then Socom Gear rebrand/make the silver MEU 1911 Limited Edition we will more than likely stock them as the black and Tan versions are good sellers for us :)

They do make a Novak NEXT in Silver which can attach a suppressor which looks great
NOVAK NEXT fully licensed Airsoft pistol - Silver

    we-meu-silver-with-pro-grips.jpg
We do have in stock the WE 1911 with Pro grips
Not a proper MEU as it has Colt 1911 etched trademarks but still very nice

A Silencer and threaded silencer/barrel adaptor can be bought for it

I have that very WE colt 1911A1 in silver/stainless steel finish in my own pistol collection its got a very high quality finish :)
I also have a black silencer and barrel adapter also for mine.

It is compatible with real steel grips ;)

We have 2 of those pistols left in stock.

That pistol would be perfect to use as a base of a hardballer project ;)

The slide would have to be extended though by about 2 inches if you wish to replicate the size of it - but would look very cool if left in the 1911 length also.

We are low on silencers & threaded barrel adapters at the moment but will be getting more in very soon - a week or two on our next redwolf order

I will be adding the silencers and threaded adaptors to the website as soon as we have some back in stock again ;)

If you wish to order on the website later or tell me what you want and I will tell the lads in the shop to put a hold on them for you.

Jay it may of been Damian or Michal who you bought from in the shop
Thanks again for buying the MP5 & M9A1 recently from us :)

    cheers man,

yea about the extendted slide, for pracitalness that green gas mags sometimes doesnt last the best(gettin out full mag) in irelands weather that would adding a extented slide eat into the gas comsumtion even more?

(plus in the game blood money the slide seem slighty more closer to stanard size that any the other games, so techinally i wouldnt be breaking the rules :p)

i know that westerns arms makes a hardballer in silver (saw it on a french website for round E280-300 mark which cheapest ever seen a westerns arms crazy job) couldnt make head nor tails of the website though not bein able to speak french

couldnt make head nor tails of the website though not bein able to speak french

It's not perfect, but you could try going to translate.google.com and pasting the website name into the box.

Select French-to-English from the menus on top, it'll speed things up a bit.

It might give you enough to go on.

If actually extended with a longer inner barrel also then it would improve accuracy but up the fps and make the gas consumption only slightly worse (very little) - if a high flow valve was fitted then yes that would eat into the gas consumption.

I see yes you are going for the blood money hardballer look
    So no rules broken ;):D

It is more onto the styling of the M1911A1
    Or real steel AMT Silverballer

All you would have to do is add the grip you mentioned and maybe if you wanted too get or modify the trigger to make it the same as the blood money hardballer - all depending on if you are going for accuracy the standard 1911A1 Trigger is nice though especially in chrome/silver.

And of course the threaded adapter piece and a silencer to be added.

    1550693-amt_hardballer_1.jpg

    1615405-silverballer_4.jpg

The western arms hardballer is nice but its still made from abs/carbon so a full metal one like the WE 1911 would be much better :)

Like I mentioned previously we have two WE M1911A1's in Silver in stock online -> available for order and also in or retail store.

We are waiting on another shipment of pistol silencers in black - having only one Tan silencer in stock.

We usually have a nice stockpile of the spartan silencers but have run low on them and waiting on redwolf to get more of the black versions back in.
Here is the range of ones we usually have in stock
    Link

I can have a look around for those grips too later for you and let you know if I find anything.

I will also check with our suppliers and see how much an ares wa2000 would set you back.

I'll be in for a gander on Sunday. The original plan was a leisurely stroll in on Saturday after I dumped my gear in the hotel. Of course, numbnuts here forgot the match in Thomond was on Saturday, not Sunday, so booking a hotel would have been a miracle so great, I'd have been declared a saint on the spot.
As such, I'll just have time to poke my head in the door with two bags of camera gear in tow on the way back. What's the Sunday opening hours?

    Hi Dex,
Sorry to hear that you will be too busy on Saturday with the match to call in.

We are closed on Sundays we are open 6 days a week Monday to Saturday

We might open by appointment only on Sundays at some point in the future but no plans to at the moment.

Here is our hours and map directions to us

Oh the game I'm covering isn't until Sunday, but the lack of hotels means I'll be hitting Limerick early Sunday morning instead of Saturday afternoon like I usually would. Every hotel from Birdhill to Coonagh is booked out. The directions I know well. I spent several years living in Castletroy, then Henry St. Foxes Bow is a well known spot!

Never mind though, I'll be down the following week for another match anyway so I'll be around on the Saturday that time. I need a couple of pairs of gloves having lost my entire collection of 5.11 ones during the snow, so I've got beady eyes on that Mechanix range.

Ok cool you know Limerick like the back of your hand so ;)

Great call in next Saturday and say Kev was talking to you here on boards ;)

Oh yes the Lovely Mechanix range of gloves I added them to the site last week  they are awesome up there with 5.11 gloves - in fact even better.

I had planned to do a write up here about them as they are great...

We are low on stock levels of them at the moment but more can be ordered in again.
We ordered in low Qty's to see if they would sell at first.

If you would like to order them on the website for store pick to make sure they are there for you when you can call in next Saturday please do ;)

I figured you'd be closed, but I thought I'd ask in case. No matter. For the next 14 weeks I'll be down almost every weekend for some game or other. Solid chance I'll be a regular by May.

I want to give those gloves a fitting first, to see what ones I need (glove sizes vary madly). If they're better than my beloved 5.11 ones, I'll be mightliy impressed. There's 31 different pairs of gloves available to me in work for free (not including haz-mat gloves) but those 5.11 ones still justified ordering a few pairs of. If they're as impressive as you claim, you may start ordering boxes of them in advance, just for me.

    Hello All,

I have decided to go a different route with regards airsoftguns.ie,
Here on the retailers thread and also the looking after of the airsoftguns.ie website directly.

I am no longer looking after the updating of the website with new products coming in our answering pm's regarding stock that is currently in stock in the retail store.

The boards username airsoftguns.ie which is Damian will be keeping this thread updated with new products and also looking after the website when new products arrive for the retail store and you can send emails to office@airsoftguns.ie if you have questions regarding a product currently instock on the website or retail store so please email directly ;)

What I will be doing going forward is taking any special orders that you want to order in (products we don't stock) you can pm me and I will take care of ordering in for you through our suppliers,

    Our main suppliers are..
    ehobbyasia
    actionsportgames
    redwolfairsoft
    wgcshop
    gunfire.pl
    specshop
    airsoft-club.com
    military.pl

We have recently struck a deal with ratech for the custom gas blowback rifles and ratech parts so I will be looking after the special orders of those for you.
We have also struck a deal with WE to buy directly from them Pistols and gas blowback rifles so in the future airsoftguns.ie will be able to offer even better prices on the pistols and gas blowback rifles :)

So if you wish to order in anything from our suppliers that airsoftguns.ie doesn't currently have in stock please contact me here through pm and I will look after it for you.

In the near future we will also be ordering in upgrade parts and I have also plans of a repair workshop and in the future a skirmishing site in Limerick in association with airsoftguns.ie so stay tuned for further announcements here on boards from myself :)

Thanks all for your support and custom :)
    Kev

    Hey guys,

Just something I was wondering about.
Most of my airsoft purchases are impulse buy's quite often
when I cant actually afford to buy with cold hard cash! so I end up running my credit card through the roof.

Are their any plans in the actual Bricks and Mortar store to
cater for people that want to pay via Laser or Credit card ?

I know you could always pay via paypal through the webpage but thats no good for someone that wants to walk into the shop and buy on an Urge! or impulse on the spot that may not be able to afford to pay "paper money"
    at that time.

If it costs a lot for a store to get a card reading machine to take purchases etc I am wondering would an option
be maybe or alternative to have a laptop etc maybe in the store with net access where they could log in and pay via paypal ? Its just a thought that crossed my mind after I really wanted something that I could not pay cash
    after visiting the store.

    ~B

    Hi Bullets
You right it is a problem definitely for us and our customers as well and we understand that. We'll get one for sure when move to new bigger store. And to be honest it is costs a lot for that card reading machine.
What about that laptop in shop to pay by paypal or card through the on-line shop is not a problem at all, we have a laptop an broadband in shop all the time.
    thanks
