I'm currently 5"10/11, and 15 and a half stone, have 10kg dumbell, yes bad I know, only one :P

I'm quite chubby and want to be in good shape by september, the 3 months off from college is when I'm hoping to work out properly, no gym, have protein aswell, what is the best I could expect, I hope to put up some pics of my bod soon if that's ok?

Ditch the protein first off - , and sort the diet. Diet will play a crucial role - what's it like? Post up a typical day in detail, warts and all.

read the stickies here at the top of this forum and in the nutrition forum

well my current diet is just normal stuff, fats and all that y'know? :D I'd follow a diet given here for the summer.

well unless posters here actually know what you're currently eating, how many calories you're allowed daily, what you plan to eat, what your workout actually consists of, nobody at all will be able to tell you what the best you can expect is, which is the question you asked in the first place. that's why i asked you!!

I was hoping I would be given a guideline for a diet and that, I'm 20 btw, not athletic, never went to the gym. Thanks :)

Like the good man says the best place to start is the stickies. Unless you want to look good in 3 months and then 12 months later be back here with the same issue you need to take some genuine interest in your nutrition (what you eat) and your exercise. The stickies are a great place to start.

Protein powder is the last few % in helping you get results. But if your diet and exercise are not tip top it wont make a blind bit of difference. In other words aim to get 90% right through good eating and exercise alone before you consider protein powder or other supplements.

In 3 months you 'could' certainly re-shape your body with determination, discipline and dedicated application of both resistance and cardio exercise. Even with no gym (in fact it's no real hindrence when your starting out.)

    Lifting weights....

    :)

Look up an all body program. This is a good one.... (I've done it myself..)

    http://www.menshealth.com/nutrition/abs-diet-workout-plan

it hits every body part and requires no special equipment except dumbells. I would go above and beyond the cardio requirement though. If your very unfit 20 mins 3 times a week is a good starting point but scaling up is advised as soon as you can. There is also a complimentary nutrition guide (you can just buy the book if you really want.) to help you out.
