    Hi all,

I have a number of food allergies which means i cant eat any fruit and no vegetables.

i need to drop a few pounds and everyone says eat plenty of fruit when you are hungry but obviously i cant.

I know i can eat rice cakes but what other types of food can i eat instead of fruit? Are yougarts good or can you get ones that are good for you?

Any help would be much appreciated and sorry if this post is in the wrong section.

Il move to the nutrition forum. What allergies do you have OP (so we can advise you better ;), because saying you have allergies to only fruit and veg smells off) _

    fair enough then

Cottage cheese is great snack - high protein.
    Nuts and seeds
some dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids up)
Nut butters/Hummous/Cream cheese on things like oatcakes/ryvita etc

Just a few of the many from the top of my head.

Check out the stickies at the top of this forum, might give you some more ideas
