I aimed on doing a 5k run at the weekend and ended up surprising myself and doing a 7k before stopping. The reason i stopped however was due to the pain of chaffing from running so far.

I know many people lob on a bit of the aul vaseline before a long run but are there any other options? Someone else said to run in cycling shorts.

    Any tips or advice?

Got a pair of Nike running shorts and the inseem behaves exactly like bicycle shorts would.

    They definitely do the job.
