UPC SD box thinks its recording 2 progs!

    Hi, just wondering if anyone else has come across this bug. If I have a recording set for 8:30 - 9pm on one channel and 9pm -10pm on another. The box is off. The overlap in the settings is just 5 mins. When I go to turn on the box at 9:30 it says there are two things recordings (there is not) and if I switch on the 9pm-10pm one will cancel. Very anoying.

    From reading posts here the HD box seems less buggy than the SD box. Should I upgrade? Thanks.

    There's an setting to record for a few minutes before and after a program somewhere in the menu. If that's turned on, your recordings will actually be (for example) 8.28 - 9.02 and 8.58 - 10.02. So there will be two recordings happening at the same time for 4 minutes

    That would be fair enough if it was during the overlap period, but it isn't. I've seen the same phenomenon, i.e. you turn the box on while it's well into recording the second program, i.e. well past the overlap period, and it still complains.

    Just to clarify, yes, it is well past the first recordings end (including overlap). There is only one thing recording.
