There are few idiots, like you'd get in any gym, but mostly everyone I've met in there was pretty sound. I used to train there between 6-8 and it'd be busy enough, I think it's even busier now, but like I said - most people in there are sound and you'd have no probs working in on sets etc. And aye, you'll be grand with the bike. COH who posts here works there at weekends, and he's a great help if you've any questions about training etc. The equipment is great too - you have everything you need really.

There's a big lad with a shaved head, caffeine addiction and fondness for cake who's a right ar$ehole in there.

Stay away from him and you'll be grand. Great gym with good equipment.

You'll have no problem getting spots etc. Grand atmosphere in the place and alot of knowledgable heads floating around.

4-5.30 is grand. 5.30-7 is busy enough mostly on Monday and Tuesdays, like anywhere it tapers off as the week progresses

If you dont put your weights back I'll kill you :pac: Aldo, theres a bit of extra floor space at the moment as we are upgrading some of the equipment. So if the middley part looks a bit bare thats because the new stuff hasnt been delivered yet.

Well, only if I'm hungover. But thanks for not calling me bald.

Went there earlier today, got told it was 250 for the year for ex-TF members. Looks like a good gym but they want the money up front and in cash. I got screwed by TF as I only paid for the year 3 weeks ago so am pretty paranoid now!

Anyone know the ownership situation at RAW/how they're doing etc?

I dont know what to tell you about the ownership situation.. there isn't really any 'situation' to know about! But the lads are sound and I'm sure they'll be happy to answer any questions/reservations you might have directly. Just email john@rawcondition.com he'll sort you out.

I can assure you though, RAW won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Its not a faceless evil corportaion type thing. You're more likely to see the owners/staff training away and having banter with the members than you are to see them hidden away in the office etc.
