    Wel all starting out new diet just wondering what people eat if there feeling peckish in the evening. I try my best to eat something light such as cream crackers or maybe a bit of fruit. Any other ideas???

    No stay away form all simple sugars at night. you want a slow release energy, calories is not a zero sum game (ie fat is easier to gain then lose over muscle).

    Id recommend, a protein based snack, boil egg, cottage cheese, some nuts, chicken, fish etc etc. Add in some fibrous vegetables and you will be flying

    a light carb based snack late evening can help release serotonin (happy hormone) and make you nod off easier, think hot milk or little nut butter on oatcake etc
