BADLANDS - PART 2 - NATO INTERVENE


Date: 25th of April or Easter Monday.
Location: HRTA Airsoft Swords.
Price: Usual prices apply.
Time: Sign-in and chrono from 10:00 until 10:45. Briefing at 10:45 game on for 11:00 until 18:00.



Commander, we’ve received intel reports that the militia at Hertrakistan have opened fire on each other, chemical weapons have been stolen. But neither side has admitted to them being in their posession, and our inside informants can find no trace, it must be a terrorist organisation.

What?!? Chemical weapons? How many?

From previous intel we placed 15 in an underground bunker, most of which were destroyed except 3.

Assemble the troops, full NBC gear, we’re going in, these weapons must be retrieved and the Hertrakistan militia disbanded!

Yes sir!

…They never learn…

After the initial combat, Midway and Overlook militia leaders agreed on an alliance, to stop both their states being wiped out by chemical weapons, but the news of the arrival of NATO forces has led to some very unwelcome receptions in the area. Several patrols have already been ambushed and NATO troops taken prisoner. Civilians in the area are looting and turning against their so-called NATO rescuers. NATO absolutely must retrieve the chemical weapons and disband the militia, through whatever means necessary, however, civilian casualties will not be tolerated.



Factions:

NATO: Desert/Tan
Militia: Green

Objectives will be released to team leaders before game day.


Ammo Limits:

Assault Rifles 800 Rounds
Machine Guns* 2000 Rounds
Pistols 50 Rounds
Shotguns 15 Shells
Sniper Rifles 60 Rounds
Grenade Launchers 4 Shells
Grenades 2 Per person
Mines 1 Per person
Ammo may be carried in mid-caps or hi-caps.

* Machine guns means proper machine guns, no stubby thrillers, box mags, etc.

Comms:
Militia Channel 2
NATO Channel 3
Marshals Channel 1

**No eavesdropping**

Medic Rule:
First hit: Drop to ground, raise hand and call for a medic. .
Second hit: as above.
Third hit, instant death, go to respawn.
Bleed out time 10 minutes, then 15 minute respawn.

Places are limited to 40.

The area is still littered with landmines, if you step on one, you're probably not gonna make it. You're medic must reach you in 5 minutes, or you'll bleed out. If you bleed out, return to the safezone for 10 minutes.

Anybody I could call on for a lift from Artane to HRTA for this? Public transport will be running Sunday schedules I expect so I can't promise to be able to get anywhere else at that time in the morning.
