There are various steps that must be taken to become a true Boardsie. Also referred to as "Degrees"
You have to be accepted by the brotherhood of the covet, and go through the intiation ceremony.
The Ceremony is different for every user, and of course, is never spoken of in the public domain.
Also half of your welath must be "donated" to Boards. (also referred to as subscribing)
You then will recieve a key to the lodge, a manual, a wrist-band and several other material possessions.

I reckon you've got the right to call yourself a boardsie when:

Your view of the world becomes constricted and tabloid like

You view your 'thanked' ratio on your smartphone on the rare occasions you find yourself outside because it makes you feel good about yourself

You hate drugs and despise people who take them

You follow the rules of the road zealously and have no sympathy for the person who got points because they were 2k over the speed limit and wanted to vent a little about it

You hate everything

If you're a 'mod' you've likely edited posts and banned people for completely pointless reasons


That's all I can think of now ... I'm a bit cranky right now but I'll probably be more hate filled later on and could probably think of a few more things

• When someone tells you a joke - you laugh and say: "Thanks.."
• When you masturbate, you think of Avatars.
• When your walking down the road and a person slips in front of you and you say: "Fail"
• When your house gets burgled and the first thing you do is post in the Help Desk.
• When you discussing fear of starting threads with a psychiatrist.
• When You walk down the road thinking about witty comments you should have made on a thread.
• When your out and about, you wonder if any of the strangers are really your Boardsie friends.
• When you find yourself using the term: 'Boardsie'.
• When you're in a cafe and the waitress asks could she get you anything else and you say: "Yeah, your ma"
• When you're in casualty, a Doctor tells you have a hairline fracture of the skull and you say: "Pics or get the fuck out"
• When you make a list of how to know when you've been on Boards too often and then change the title of that list to 'thanks whore' another thread
