Hi all. I have had a flu for the past week now. The main symptoms are gone but I still have a runny nose and slight cough, I feel fine, should I now continue with my C25K program and do my run?

General rule of thumb is that if the symptoms are above the neck, its okay to go out, just keep the intensity lower. However, if the sympotms are below the neck (ie in the chest), best bet to hold off an extra bit until it clears up a little more

Had a cold last week and by Saturday was feeling good. So on Sunday decided to go for a run. Felt fine. Then on Monday went to gym. Again felt fine.
However, Monday night I felt real tired and sore throat again. Then on Tuesday my head was all blocked up and had sore throat and muscles all stiff.

Took some lemsip at night and panadol during the day but feel worse today if anything.

Its starting to annoy me as I have a couple of days off work this week and was hoping to get a lot of training in. But cannot shake this cold for good!

    Any advice?

    Thanks!

Advice? Yes - most obviously listen to your body! don't train again until you feel you are better if training is making you worse. A few days off won't be the end of the world - eat plenty of good food and get enough sleep.
