I won't eat...

...shrimp because it's like eating fishy-tasting elastic bands, I won't eat oysters because they look like snots on steriods.

Is their any food that you hate and why?

What's the reason for being reasonable?

    Is that an unreasonable question?

if your prawns taste like elastic bands then some moron must have cooked them to death.Prawns arent like that when cooked correctly.Plus judging food by how it looks is a bit jeuvinile

Beans. Look disgusting. Smell disgusting. Taste disgusting. And it disgusts me to see people ruining a perfectly good fry by dumping a load of beans all over it.

    **** beans

Hákarl. In fairness, I've never tried it but the fact that it is sometimes pissed on to achieve the same effect has made my mind up for me.

As for non-crazy Icelandic food, I'd say Brussels sprouts. Little, round works of the devil they are.

Lethal Lady; I once worked in a major 'Paste' factory. The Ham was to die for ~ it was a perq, passing through the chill room and snatching a hand full into ye mouth in passing. All diced to about 1/2" square cubes :)

Then again; If they prepared that ham for the paste? How come they did what they did to the chicken?

Believe me: Ye Do Not want to know how that chicken was prepared! Even if ye don't eat that sh!t anyway.

    Oh god; The Grease ....!

I dont mind eating fish but if its strong smelling, i will loose my appetite for some reason or at least I wont enjoy eating it too much.

Alot of Sea food wouldnt be my favourite by a long way but I havent ever tried alot of them too. The dislike has been built up too much in my head. How do you get around that?

Any organ other than the liver, and even then only when it's in something. I'm not a fan of mayo but I'll eat it if I have to. I treat mushrooms much like I'd treat liver. I've never had oysters and don't plan on having them. I have a broad mind when it comes to food so even if I'm not a fan of something I'm always ready to give it a second chance.

Try fish that doesn't taste strong like Cod or Haddock. Looks just like Chicken really but really healthy and good for you !

Then slowly work your way to Tuna, then maybe some grilled anchovies or sardines - lovely taste just grilled with salt. I love them.

I don't mind fried squid but am not a big octopus fan to be honest.

Tripe and drisheen! For those of you who are not aware of this Cork delicacy, it is the lining of sheeps stomach and sheeps intenstine. The tripe is boiled in milk, onion, salt and pepper and is thickened with cornflour. I'm sure its lovely, but I can't stand the carpet textured appearance of the tripe and I hate the smell of it as it is cooking. I eat almost anything, but I can't bring myself to try this...

pot noodle is evil nutritionless gunk. Your better off with beans n toast or a bacon sandwich.

i'm currently over in china on holiday and have to say i've eaten nearly everything put in front of me from chicken feet to locusts... but the one constant that i don't and won't eat at home remains........

    POTATO!!!

god damn it i hate them! roast baked or boiled, doesn't matter, and i hate it when people say that "oh they're nice and floury"???? here.... here's a bag of flour... go nuts!
