good retailer, done many orders with them

A few of us ordered from them before Christmas, all went well. Good prices on a lot of stuff, got a scope for reasonable money among other things, and it turned out to be a decent bit of gear.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 110 ✭✭Marcin B

Their shipping costs are very lowd (DPD). They say that shipping anything up to 30 kg costs 120 zloty (30 euro) and I confirm that as my last order weighed 27 kg :)

Their prices are great but quality of their products is rather low.

Dealt with them a few times and they have always been very good. They are very helpful in offering to do modifications, installations or upgrades on gear you are ordering for them, usually for free.

My last order there was a problem with the gun. I ended up fixing it myself but they replied quickly when I talked to them, and were planning to give me a replacement and refund the delivery costs.

No complaints and I plan to use them again.

yes, normally for free if you add the spring to an order, although you will need to email them to confirm

    http://www.taiwangun.com/parts_and_accesories_hand_gun_accesories/external_barrel_for_kjw_replicas_from_g23_series_kjw-2135.html

Would it be a good idea to get someone ordering a few bits for people and splitting the postage?

wait wait wait a second you can order aeg's have them downgraded (If you add correct spring to the order?) and it just arives at your door roughly within a week???? And was customes involved in this at any stage????

Me and my friends bought a total of 8 AEGs from them. All downgraded for the price of spring with written down chrono results. None of the packages were open by customs. And yes it's always around 30 eu for 30kg.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 229 ✭✭mikeyod123

so even if i buy something tht only weighs 1k ill have to pay 30 postage?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 110 ✭✭Marcin B

One thing though. When we tried to send two of their guns for repairs they refused to cooperate.

But in the end fixing them here turned out to be cheaper.

By the way, they have some APS guns in stock :)

They use DPD so to price might be lower if it's under 10 kg. Best to ask them yourself.

I've ordered off them a few times with my friends when I wanted accessories, or recently, a certain AEG. Here are a couple of answers to yer questions based upon my experiences with them.
    mikeyod123 wrote: »

They charge shipping at a step basis. Any package weighing 0-10kg costs approx. €35 in shipping. There is no cheaper shipping rate than that to answer your question. The positive thing is that you can get 2-3 AEGs at this weight between yourself and friends and split the shipping so it's only something like €10-15 each. Orders weighing 10-15 or 10-20kg (don't know for sure) cost approx. €40 to ship. €40 was the most I've paid for orders that were 10kg+.
    F.U.B.A.R wrote: »

You must include a note at the paying process that you wish to have the AEG downgraded. The shipping usually takes 5 working days (a week in normal terms) but this is from when they hand the package into the courier in poland so overall wait to arrive aslo depends on how long it takes them to find all your bits and bobs together for the package.
No customs do not typically get involved because you are ordering from a country that is within europe and not from outside it like with China or America are. Part of being in the european union affects trading between countries I think (junior cert business was a long time ago so don't press me on the details, haha tongue.gif).

Now to anyone who is thinking of ordering from them and getting the AEG downgraded, as far as I know they do not have M90 springs (the one you'll need for Irish limits) in stock at the moment. A M100 or higher (the number after the M denotes the approx. speed it can project a .2g BB before taking other components in the AEG into consideration to give the final speed it will achieve) will most likely push your AEG over 1J and hence make it an illegal firearm under Irish law. The strongest spring under a M90 they have is a M85, which is pretty useless and will leave your AEG very weak.

This leaves you with another option. You ask them to remove the original spring which puts it over 328 fps from the AEG and buy a M90 spring in Ireland and get a retailer or Tech to install it for you or you can do it yourself if you know how to work on an AEG. After this you should have an AEG which is within the Irish legal limit of 1Joule(less than 328fps or 100m/s with a .2g BB)

Also, just because it's lower than 328fps or 100m/s with a heavier BB than .2g does not mean that it is within the 1 Joule limit. 1 Joule is calculated using the speed and weight of the BB.

Usually it's around 25% cheaper. I go there mainly for BBs. Their own brand is called P&J and a bag of 4000 .2 cost just 5 euro. So far we bought over 20 bags of that stuff and never had any issues with them.

True, they do the 25kg boxes or something don't they for about €130-150? Haven't bought BBs off them but my friend got a few and he's had no issues with them either.

    They do but only 0.20g. It's 138 eu for 25 kg. The description says it's 122 700 BBs :)

They had a 25kg bag of .25g BBs for a while I think because I was looking through the site about a month or two ago and saw them. They're probably sold out at the moment of other sizes. Maybe it was a different site and I'm getting confused but I was 90% sure it was them. I was tempted as bulk buying BBs is very handy on the pocket in the long term but I didn't know how reliable their BBs were.

P90, yes they are there. Magpul masada, I don't think so. Think SRC,CYMA,APS,DBOYS,etc. Something like that they do have KJW gas pistols and a good few WELL ones (the hi-capa clone versions) for about €60.

right ignore that last post stupid ****ing phone lol I thought the nomber after the 'M' denoted the velocity in metres per second and was told that its roughly 320 +/- 5 fps?

Sorry, what are you saying exactly? To convert metres per second you multiply it by 3.281 to get approx. FPS. Eg. 100m/s ~ 328fps.

The number after the M does denote the velocity in metres/sec. A M90 should make 90m/s before taking the cylinder, piston head, barrel, etc. in consideration. This means that the AEG can fire at over or under 90m/s with a .2g BB.

Does that answer your question? If it doesn't I'll try to answer it better.

And WELL are a reasonable brand I've heard. They're not a big brand but they preform well enough plus I heard off a friend that they accept some tokyo marui upgrade parts to increase performance and reliability.

For the price that is ranged from P4,8K to P5,2K here in the Philippine market, it is not bad having one as a dedicated AEG for ultra CQB. One advantage with this P90 over the all-time favorite Stubby Killers, is the longer inner barrel that almost double in length than that of the stubby. It can also be upgraded to a longer inner barrel, the size of an M4 length inner barrel, for greater accuracy, hidden by a suppressor. And with this KS version of P90, you can have a Laylax box mag (for P6,5K) and conservative upgrades at less than the price of the stock TM P90.

This AEG comes in a version 6 gearbox that some gunsmiths claimed to push it to 460fps that is too much for the CQB games – totally not needed.

The external finish is awesome considering it is a mid-class ACM made by an unknown manufacturer. The plastic has good finish that resembles the JG Steyr AUG plastic finish. The fittings is excellent that when you shake the AEG, there is no “kwik” sound heard, except using a relatively smaller Li-Poly battery. I should say, it has better fittings than the ACM AUG’s at OTB.

However, when using Li-Poly’s, gunsmiths suggests that it should be replaced with a good piston body for stability at continuous firing – relatively common for any AEG’s Li-Po upgrade.

It has also a fake charging handle to add the RS-look.

I think, as the form factor suggest, this is good at CQB games, speedball games (when installed with a LayLax box mag), semi-field, and even a back-up gun for dedicated shooters

thats some of a review for the 115e one

Yes thats exactly what I meant but of course forgot to take into account the other parts that would effect the fps so never go with M100?

ah rite its 3 different models from 115 - 130 :D and man that sounds excellent wouldnt use lipos tho lol

They only way you could is if the other parts in your AEG actually lower the overall fps or m/s that the AEG shoots at (basically, bearing spring guides and bearing piston heads as well as probably an aftermarket tightbore barrel are a no if you want to keep it legal) A M90 spring should be fine and should leave you some m/s to spare incase you do want to make upgrades which could up the m/s output with a .2g BB.

You could use a 7.4 lipo if you wanted, they preform similar to a 9.6v NiMH but with longer battery life (if you get one with good specs) and better trigger response. A 7.4v should be safe enough so long as you buy the proper accessories (balance charger, power level alarm, etc.) and look after it properly.

Lipos do not break themselves, you just have to use it right and maintain it right.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,638 ✭✭✭F.U.B.A.R

right I'l see if I cant get some M90's and as for the lipo ive nearly set the house on fire charging an NiMh longer than it should have because of my absent mind so for health and safety reasons I think I'l skip the lipos lol

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 975 ✭✭✭CpcRc

Just a suggestion. I might move over to lipos in a few months. Some RC ones are cheaper than NiMH and the thought of a battery that'll last 7-10 hours is tempting.

As for nearly burning down your house, smart charger dude. One of the necessary accessories if you use NiMH batts and so simple. Plug in, walk away, come back to collect charged batts, skirmish. They stop charging the batts when they're charged so the won't break them or make them burn stuff. It's win win.

    P.S. taiwangun stock smart chargers

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,638 ✭✭✭F.U.B.A.R

oh yeah forgot about those only have the cheapo jg crap that came with the g36 and keep buying guns and mags lol I'l add that to the list aswell lol and 7-10 hours does sound very tempting aswell 3 of those would keep me going for a 24hr game no problem :) although I have to play one first lol

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 975 ✭✭✭CpcRc

Well if you do decide to get lipos research them. Find out good brands and specs (25C and 1600mah would be where they start getting good). A lot of people recommend component shop in the uk for batteries be they NiMH or lipo as they are a good company who stock good products. They will also add deans connectors to your batteries that you order for an extra €5. You will have to have deans connectors on your AEG too and will only be able to use batteries with deans. But you will get better performance from your AEG and so long as you pack spares you should be ok.

But this is off topic. To bring it back somewhat, taiwangun do sell some lipo battery chargers, not sure if they are balance chargers, and they sell the battery alarms as well too I think.

If you mean conversion kits? They have some under conversion kits and wooden parts in the parts and accessories section.

If you mean performance, they sell gearbox parts as well which can be used to upgrade an AEGs gearbox
