has anyone had any problems with Irish Lifting.com?

I ordered equipment from them, the money has gone from my account,
now they wont answer the phone or return my calls/email.
so I dont know where or when to collect the items
I'm getting a bit worried about my cash now.

Is this the norm or should I contact my bank.

any info offered will be appreciated.

I bought equipment from Irish Lifting last autumn. I had my stuff (bench, weights etc.) within a few days. I made a bit of a mess of my order but he rang me and sorted it out as well.

Nothing but good things from me.

Had good experience when I ordered, always kept updated

Get Mick to deliver it personally OP
So you can check out the Hummer

    Lads,

Just on a similar note, what is the best course of action if an order is made online but it doesn't arrive? About 7-8 weeks ago I ordered the Grapper's Guide to Sport Nutrition book from www.grapplersgym.com. Didn't receive the book, e-mailed Mike Fry (site owner) several times with no response. Can I get refunded via my bank or what's the story? Any advice is appreciated.

As far as I remember Mick is a member here under the username MickK so you could try sending him a PM although I would second what the drifter wrote and wait a bit.

What's the cumulative amount of time you've spent waiting for delivery from irish lifting?

    waits for sperm joke.

Best bet would be to contact your CC company. They should refund you.

if you live nearby pop down to the place in sandyford.

I was going to buy a drag sled online but was just as handy to go get it.

Do Irishlifting set up the equipment for you? Or is it just deliver it to your door and leave you to it?

for commerical purposes i think they will set up some equipment. For home setups i dont think they do. I got a rack from them and they are simple to put together.

side note: my 25kg plates arrived this morning.

Question on side note, sort of :). What's the diameter of the 20kg plates irish lifting sell do you know? My work gym has them and I have my convinced they're smaller than the one's in my other gym.

It's pretty obvious that they're smaller that the norm!

I'm aware of that horse, but the one's in my other gym are also smaller than the norm.

If they have IL 25s then they're closer to the proper size.

Home gym has Atlantis plates, their 25kg might be 450mm. There are only 2 of the feckers in the gym though so most of the time I have to use 20kg plates which are smaller.

Work gyms biggest plates are IL 20kg, which I think are slightly smaller again than the Atlantis ones.
